There will be no frenzied finish across the Royal Gorge bridge this fall.
Due to inclement weather conditions, the staff at Canon City High School has canceled this year's running of the Canon City Invitational at the Royal Gorge. It's been rather soggy the last four or five days.
This could result in a bit of a scramble for alternate meets this weekend, though the particulars of that remain to be seen.
