Midway through, Nicole Lawrence and Kaylee Thompson were still battling over the lead, and the field was beginning to string out behind them.

It's the same idea as was used yesterday with the championship race results. I've gone back and scored the one mile and two mile standings here for the small school girls race to help add some clarity to how the race developed. As usual, ties were broken in order of eventual order of finish, thus reducing somewhat the volatility of the mid race standings. One mile standings are on this page. Two mile standings are on the next page.
