Emily Sloan continued her all-out assault of the 2018 indoor track season, capping her day at the Carl Lewis Invitational in Texas with a dominating 8.52 win.

Rock Canyon senior Emily Sloan and Valor Christian's Anna Hall both made the finals of the 60 hurdles. Sloan made it a clean-sweep, claiming the her third and final race of the day in dominating fashion.
Hours earlier Sloan was all smiles following her preliminary heat of the 60 hurdles. She blitzed the field with a 8.69 -- the No. 7 time in the country. Joining her in the semifinals was Hall, who ran 9.05 in the prelims.
Sloan continued her dominance in the semifinals, running away with the win in her heat in 8.63. Hall was just two places behind in 8.97 -- also qualifying for the final.
The final belonged to Sloan entirely. The Rock Canyon senior saved her best for last, dominating the field with an astonishing 8.52 victory. The win was nearly three-tenths of a second ahead of her nearest competitor. Hall capped off the Colorado impressive day with a sixth-place finish in 9.07, respectively.
