Emily Sloan shattered the 300 hurdle Colorado record with a 40.77 win at the Continental League Championships.
Emily Sloan decided not to wait for next week's state championships to write her name into history. The Rock Canyon senior went 40.77 for a Colorado state record in the 300 hurdles at the Continental League Championships.
The time shatters Carly Lester's four year-old record of 41.18. Sloan's 40.77 is No. 2 in the country behind Masai Russell's 40.70.
