Niwot Dominates 4A

A year ago the state title eluded the Niwot boys, but not this year.

This year they left no questions on the table, tallying 70 points to beat out the shocker of the 4A - Durango, who put together an incredible race of their own.

After Culpepper's one-point, Niwot's Zane Bergen was just outside the top-10, finished 12th, while Grayden RaubaJoaquin Herrera, and Joey Hendershot crashed the top-30, as they put seven in front of everyone else's No. 5.

49 points back was Durango, who came in to the state meet ranked No. 6 in the Pre-State Coaches Poll. They had a stellar 1-2-3 of Tichi, Paul Knight, and Logan Moore - who was the No. 1 third-runner of the day.
