Northfield's Giavonna Meeks tops the girl's list - by over 20-feet. The Northfield junior is in league of her own here - she owns state-leading marks in both the discus, and the shot put. Meeks currently owns bests of 152-4.5 in the discus (which is 14-feet beyond anyone), and 47-3 in the shot put. Her combined mark is a staggering 199-7.5.
Kajsa Borrman comes in No. 2 here with season-bests of 138-8 in the discus, and 39-2.5 in the shot for a combined total of 177-10.5
Heather Yackey, Melita Ferchau and Amanda Opp are a close 3-4-5, with Yackey's total at 168-6, while Ferchau's 166-8 is just ahed of Opp's 166-2.5
Avery Shunneson tops the boy's list. The Thomas Jefferson junior owns season bests of 180-7.5 in the discus, and 55-0 on the shot put for a total of 235-7.5.
