Josh Snyder's 17:07 from the 2A Region 3 Championships is the seventh-fastest time among returning boys.
The 2A landscape is likely to have a few surprises this year... But let's take a look at the top returners based on time...
Crested Butte's Connor Williams returns as the fastest returner - and top returner from the state meet. His 15:38 from Desert Twilight leads 2A by nearly half-a-minute. Dylan Brush is the second-fastest returner with his 16:09 personal best from the Colorado Classic XC Meet. Meanwhile, Jack Nauman is the third-fastest returner with his 16:34, and not far behind is Jodzuel Juarez, who has run 16:46.
For the girls Eowyn Dalbec and Zaila Smith return with Sub-19 performances from last year. Dalbec ran 18:39 for the fastest-returning time, while Smith was just 13-seconds back in 18:52. Quin Gregg's 19:15 is the third-fastest returning time, while Ainsley Stanton and Sophia Bull come in 4-5 in 19:27, and 19:31.
