On paper Heritage Christian looks to be in the prime position to make it another sweep of 1A in 2022.
The Heritage Christian girls look just as dominate as ever. The defending state champions return quite a few from last year's squad, including big scorers Kali Siemers and Ainsley Stanton. Siemers looks dominate in the sprints and hurdles, while Siemers is the top returner in the 1,600 and the 3,200. They've got a fully loaded squad that can score points on and off the track.
The question really looks like: Who will get second?
Merino will look to tally most of their points with Taysa Conger, and their stellar relays, while Kiowa will look to sprinter Marissa Morgan and mid-distance runner Paola Vidales for points.
