The Falcon junior may have never won a cross country race - yet - but she wasn't racing like it. Massey wasted no time storming to the front of the pack and simply dominating the field.
Heading into the final mile she held a 20-second lead over St.Mary's Academy's Hana Husmann, and the lead would stick to the end.
Massey claimed her first cross country race victory, running 20:29 over the tough course. Husmann finished second 23-seconds back in 20:52.
Wheat Ridge's Arabella England finished third in 21:05, which was just ahead of Lutheran freshman Aeva Decker, who finished fourth in 21:12.
Lutheran ran away with the team race by putting four inside the top-nine, and five in the top-13. They tallied 41 points for the team title. Falcon took second with 61, while D'Evelyn was third with 88.
