Let's take a look at the top returners from the 2023 2A Colorado State Championships...

We'll have two defending state champs returning - Colorado Springs Christian's Andrew Bel, and The Vanguard's Nadhia Campos. 

On the boys side seven of this year's top-10 return, led by defending state champ Bel. 

11 squads return four-or-more athlete their state squads, and on top of them all is Banning Lewis Prep. Though Peyton isn't too far behind. 

For the girls we could see a rarity in Colorado cross country - a four-peat. 

Campos is the three-time defending state champ - next year she could make it a high school sweep with four. 

Like the boys, seven of this year's top-10 return. 

Heritage Christian looks to be in prime position to defend their state title - they have four of the top-eight returners.
