Congratulations to Francis Ojowa of Prairie View High School, who won our first edition of performer of the week! Now onto this week and don't forget, voting closes on Friday, March 21 at Midnight!
Ryan Elsen, Brighton High School
After running, 10.61 last week in the 100m, Ryan Elsen came back and sprinted to a time of 21.69 in the 200m, catapulting him into the #1 spot in Colorado in both the 100m and now the 200m.
Ben Lee, ThunderRidge High School
Racing against some tough competition in the 800m at the ThunderRidge Invitational, Ben Lee came out on top with a new personal best of 1:55, earning him a MileSplit First Team National standard.
Benjamin Adams, Mountain Vista High School
If running under 9:20 in the 3200m isn't hard enough, Benjamin Adams did it at altitude, running a time of 9:16. This time is a personal best by one second, putting him in a good spot this early on in the season.
Jayce Newbill, Berthoud High School
Though it is still early in the season, Jayce Newbill jumped a massive PR of three inches in the high jump at the NoCo Roosevelt Qualifier. Newbill reached a new height of 6-7, which puts him at the #1 spot in Colorado.
Soren Shinofield, Cherry Creek High School
On a huge roll is Soren Shinofield, who threw 53-4 in the shot put over the weekend. Though this did not top his personal best throw from last weekend of 54-8, it still showed off Shinofield's consistency over the first two weekends.
