Joseph Kitonsa, Lewis-Palmer High School: On Monday, Kitonsa competed in the triple jump at a very low-key meet at Harrison High School, but his results were anything but low-key. Kitonsa got out to 47-2, leading Colorado and earning a spot in the top 15 in the whole nation!
Xzavier Campos, Coronado High School: Campos went a little south to compete at the Chandler Rotary Invite in Arizona, where he placed 4th overall in the elite heat of the 1600m. He ran a blistering time of 4:12, putting him atop the rankings in Colorado.
Oliver Horton, Coronado High School: Also running at the Chandler Rotary Invite, Horton raced in the elite heat of the 3200m, where he ran 9:07, which was good enough for 3rd place and the current top time in Colorado.
Dylan Khailer, Kent Denver School: Running a huge PR in the 200m was Khailer, racing to a time of 21.57. This is only his second time running under 22 seconds and is currently the fastest in the event in Colorado.
Elian Oliva, Northfield High School: This past weekend, Oliva triple jumped against Kitonsa and came out on top with a jump of 46-10.75. His jump puts him #2 in Colorado and beating Kitonsa makes this performance that much more special.
