-Zona Welling of Heritage High School wins the 5A titles in the 100m and 200m, upsetting Addyson Smith of Fossil Ridge in the 100m.
-Emily Cohen of Cherry Creek High School wins the 5A state titles in the 1600m and the 3200m by less than a second in both races.
-Jessica Black of Cedaredge High School wins the 1600m and the 300m hurdles 2A state titles on the same day.
-Ryan Svoboda of Caliche High School wins the 1A state title in shot put, throwing 40-1.75, becoming one of the few girls in Colorado who have thrown over 40 feet this year.
Alexa Queen of Fountain-Fort Carson High School defeats Payton Becker in the 300m hurdles, pulling both to sub-42 second times, with Queen running 41.66 for the 5A state title.
