CO Girls Performer of the Week State Meet Edition

Taya Wren of Rangely High School won last week's performer of the week, winning the 2A Region 5 Championship in a time of 18:45.

Here are the nominees for this week after a thrilling state meet. Make sure to get your votes in by Thursday, November 6th at 11:59pm MT! 

Addison Ritzenhein, Niwot High School: Ritzenhein won her third straight individual state title, running a time of 17:08. Though her time was not as fast last year, she still won by over 30 seconds!

Natasha Hessler, Ridgway High School: Though only a sophomore, Hessler won her first individual 2A state title on the cross country course, running a time of 18:49 to defeat the field. She also helped Ridgway to their first team title!

Raegan McRae, Cheyenne Mountain High School: In a thrilling finish, McRae was able to out kick Kayla Broecker to win the 4A individual state title. She ran a time of 18:05 to take the victory by one second!

Delaney Reuter, Eaton High School: Reuter took it out hard from the gun and never looked back. She won her 2nd consecutive individual 3A title, running a time of 17:41 and finishing ahead of second place by over 15 seconds!

The Classical Academy's Girls Team: The girls from Classical Academy won another state title, placing their top five within the top 11 of Class 3A! They scored only 24 points and beat Manitou Springs by over 60 points.
