Here are the nominations for the Performer of the Year! Make sure to get your votes in by Friday, November, 14th at 11:59pm MT!

Addison Ritzenhein, Niwot High School: Ritzenhein went undefeated all season except the first race of the year. She won Desert Twilight in a time of 17:00, her league and regional meets, and also won her 3rd individual state title, running a time of 17:08! She was also selected for the Golden Ticket to represent Colorado at the Brooks XC Championships in December.

Emry Schwalm, Heritage High School: Schwalm went undefeated all season until the state meet. Her wins included Liberty Bell, where she ran 16:43, the Nike Portland XC meet running 16:56, and also won her regional meet. Though her race at the Class 5A race at the state meet was not her best, she still finished 12th overall! Plus given the rest of season was incredibly consistent for Schwalm, she is deserving of a nomination.

Delaney Reuter, Eaton High School: With an impressive racing schedule of ten races, Reuter only lost one race by milliseconds to Schwalm at Liberty Bell. Otherwise, Reuter took home victories in every other race, including all of the championship meets. She also won her second straight 3A state title, winning by over 15 seconds! Finally, she ran the 2nd fastest time in all of Colorado, making her one of the best runners in the nation.

Claire Guiberson, Mountain Vista High School: Guiberson found herself winning a handful of competitive races, including the Dave Sanders Invitational and the Pat Patten Invite. She also finished behind Schwalm to place 2nd overall in her regional meet and placed 5th at the 5A XC State Championship. Finally, Guiberson ran 16:48 at Liberty Bell, running the 3rd fastest time in all of Colorado!
