CO Boys Performer of the Year (2025)

After placing their entire scoring line up in the top 10 at the 5A XC State Championship, the boys from Niwot High School won last week's performer of the week!

Here are the nominations for the Performer of the Year! Make sure to get your votes in by Friday, November, 14th at 11:59pm MT!

Oliver Horton, Coronado High School: Horton won every race he toed the line for and set course records left and right. He won and set a course record at the Coronado Cougar Classic, running a time of 14:36. He then went on to win Desert Twilight in a time of 14:23, and finally ended his regular season with a win at the 4A State XC Championship, running 14:48 - a brand new state meet record! 

Benjamin Adams, Mountain Vista High School: Adams also put together a consistent season, winning all of his races. His season was highlighted by a win at Liberty Bell, where he ran 14:32, running one of the fastest times in all of Colorado. He also won the Pat Patten Invitational and took the victory at the Class 5A state meet, running 15:03! His time was the 3rd fastest time ever run on the course and set the 5A state meet record! 

Dylan Blair, Eagle Valley High School: Blair started off his season hot, winning the Cheyenne Mountain Stampede, in a new meet record of 15:11, defeating the reigning 4A state champion in the process. He also consistently ran under 15 minutes in the 5k with times of 14:43 (Liberty Bell), 14:57 (Desert Twilight), and 14:23 (Warrior Lincoln Park Classic). He finished runner-up at the 4A state meet, solidifying him as one of the best runners in Colorado!

Hunter Robbie, Niwot High School: Though he is on one of the best teams in the whole nation, Robbie still managed to stick out, consistently finishing as Niwot's #1 runner. He won a handful of meets including the St. Vrain XC Invite and the Granite Peaks League Championship. He also ran 14:45 at Desert Twilight to finish 4th overall. Finally, he placed 2nd overall at the 5A XC Championship running 15:06 and also dipping under the 5A state record!
