Eleanor Fulton to Finals

For Eleanor Fulton, the steeplechase seems to just get shorter and shorter. This morning at the World Junior Championships in Moncton (New Brunswick), Canada, Fulton qualified for finals in the 3000 steeplechase with a personal best time of 10:25.89. With that effort, she placed fifth in the second heat of preliminaries and advanced to the finals.

 

Shelby Greany also qualified for finals for the United States in the 3000 steeple with a fifth-place finish in the first heat.

 

The finals of the 3000 steeplechase are scheduled to take place on Thursday at 7:30 PM EDT.
