I'll stick to what I said earlier about the Loveland/Fort Collins area being, school-for-school, the strongest region of cross country in the state. The south Denver metro area, however, will give you a pounding. The proportion of top programs may not be quite what it is 90 minutes up I-25, but there are a lot of strong programs in this area.
As we've done in the other articles in this series, we'll start with the 2A programs.
2A Programs
Denver Christian - We thought this program was on the ropes a few years back, and then Ryan Poland arrived. About now, the program needs another Ryan Poland. The boys didn't have a complete team to field at last year's regional meet, and the girls barely did. Prospects do not immediately look better for this fall.
