There are still several weeks of the indoor season remaining. A good many of the people visiting this site have a lot to look forward to in the rest of the indoor season. For myself, though, I must confess that my thoughts leap easily ahead to the CHSAA-sanctioned outdoor season. And there's a lot to look forward to.

Let's start with the most basic element of track and field, the track itself. There are several new or recently refurbished tracks around the state this spring (and I probably don't know about all of them).

Horizon High School recently redid their track and will be hosting home meets again. That should provide a bit of a pressure relief valve for Five Star North Stadium.
