Often, the threshold between being an average team and a very good team is a fine line. Fort Morgan has been a team riding that line. The potential is there and you sense that this is a team that could make a move to the next level.
Last fall, Andres Luna was the top guy on this team and make claim that role again this fall. He had a season-best mark of 17:10 at the Andy Myers Invitational and was certainly the most consistent of the Mustang harriers last fall. Luna's track season marks were consistent with his cross country season last fall, so he should be able to show at least incremental improvement this fall, though nobody really ever sets out on a season aiming for just incremental improvement. If Fort Morgan is to make a move up, you have to believe Luna moves to at least 16-mid kind of territory.
