For the second week in a row, Chap's meanest Wolverines went mostly untested. This week, however, they were at least in uniform and racing. But, a small meet close to home didn't provide Chaparral much in the way of resistance in the boys race.

It's not that Chaparral didn't give other folks their chances. The usual Chaparral suspects, Dominic Compoz, James Kadolph, and Travis Anderson ran very patiently early and let the lead transition through a succession of feet. At about two-and-a-half miles, however, their patience was spent. The trio rolled decisively to the front and scarcely so much as thought to look back. By eleventh place, Matt Kade and Steven Rummler had closed out the Chap scoring. Even as small as the meet was, it came to a margin of 34 points on second.
