As a starting point for previewing the Spring, 2013, CHSAA-sanctioned track season, we'll take the rankings of last year's returning performers and score them as a meet. That has been done below, with the notable exception of relays. Relays, of course, make no sense to score at this point because relay composition changes dramatically from year to year and, for the most part, we don't know how many seniors populated last year's relay teams.
Next, we'll discuss what we know has happened in the interim. Chiefly, that will involve developments from the cross country season, but could also include information about turnover in coaching staff, athletes moving in/out, and some early indoor season results that point to any changes in the order of things from last year's rankings.
