Compared to Balch Field House in Boulder, Steinhauer Field House in Golden is a photographer's dream venue. What a difference a little light makes!
But, the light wasn't the only attraction. There was some good track and field going on today, too. Between 10 AM and 1:30 PM, scarcely an event passed without something worthy of notice taking place.
Perhaps the most noteworthy happenings, however, both came at the end of the day in a non-standard event--the 600 meter run. At Steinhauer Field House, the 600 meter run is a little over three laps. The girls race was a race for about one of those three laps. After that, it was about Devan Foster putting a major gap on the field.
