Meet Information
To comply with CHSAA Covid-19 policy, these procedures will be followed:
- Team entries will be capped at 10 teams, with priority given to IML teams
- Teams will be limited to 5 runners each in boys and girls races.
- Each race will feature 2 waves, beginning 5 minutes apart.
- Girls race will begin at 5 pm. Boys will start at 5:45.
- Wave assignments: Girls Wave 1 (5 pm) Telluride, Durango, Mancos, Alamosa, Dolores Girls Wave 2 (5:05 pm) M-CHS, Ignacio, Bayfield, Centauri, Pagosa Boys Wave 1 (5:45 pm) M-CHS, Ignacio, Bayfield, Centauri, Pagosa Boys Wave 2 (5:50 pm) Telluride, Monte Vista, Mancos, Alamosa, Dolores
- No awards ceremony will be held and results will not be posted at the race.
- Race will be 5K and feature 2 loops around Parque de Vida located in central Cortez on Roger Smith Ave. Course will be on grass with several sidewalk crossings. Map is being emailed from our AD's office and will also be available at the race.
- The Cortez Recreation Center will be closed to all teams; portable facilties will be provided.
- Teams should provide all water, as none is available in the park.
- A trainer will be available.
- Course Maps will be provided via email and available at check in on race day.
