Course-
Thecourse is a 1-mile loop that kids will repeat 3 times.The running surface will be all grass, dirt
and or gravel path.There are a few
small hills and a location where, if we get rain, can collect water creating a
water crossing.Racing shoes/spikes are
highly recommended if athletes have them.I have made a short video of the

Timing/Scoring-
The League Championships will be timed this year by Simon Escorcia and
Colorado Race Timing.His office number
is 720-287-4972 if you have questions regarding the registration process.

have 9 teams, each team will be limited to 5 athletes.As a reminder, we are running 5 and scoring
5.
Boys 5A Race
Pomona andColumbine Boys Teams are limited to 2 runners in the first heat.All other Boys teams will
run 3 in the first heat. Please put your fastest 2-3 runners in the first heat.Pomona and Columbine will have 3 runners in
the second heat while all other teams are limited to 2.
Girls 5A Race
Valor andA-West
Girls teams are limited to 2 runners in the first heat.All other Girls teams
will run 3 in the first heat.Please put
your fastest 2-3 runners in the first heat.Valor and A-West will have 3 runners in the second heat while all other
teams are limited to 2.
Awards-
Team plaques for 1stand 2ndplace.
Individual medals for places 1-16 and ribbons for places 17-24.
(All Conference honors: 1-8 = first team, 9-16 = second
team, 17-24 = Honorable Mention)
Parking-(Coaches &
Athletes and Workers Only)
Parking for coaches and athletes will be in the
area around the barn.We will have signs
and volunteers at the entrance to direct traffic.Only athletes and coaches are allowed to park
in this parking area.Parents can drop
off runners near the barn, but will not be able to park there.Since they will be driving on part of the
course to access the drop-off location, we ask that all drop-offs be completed
by 3:30.We will then close the athlete entrance
to secure the course. (see spectator info for spectator parking)
