Meet Information
Date: 9/11
Location: Broomfield Commons. Set up team camps outside of the track. On the south east side is a good spot..
Schools: Horizon, Legacy, Mt. Range.
Number of athletes: Each school can bring 16 athletes per gender.

Times:
Boys wave 1: 4 PM (8 boys per team)
Boys wave 2: 4:10 PM (8 boys per team)
Girls wave 1: 4:45 PM; if the boys race is not completed and finalized by 4:45, then the girls race will start as soon as that happens. (8 girls per team)
Girls wave 2: 4:55 PM or 10 minutes after wave 1 (8 girls per team)
Scoring: Only wave 1 athletes will count towards scoring. Tie breakers will go to the team with the fastest athlete in wave 2.
Timing: Legacy will time the event using bibs and the webscorer app.
Back up Times: Coaches are responsible for back up times.
Results: Will be posted to the homepage of the Legacy XC website. Just google Legacy Cross Country or use the link: https://sites.google.com/a/adams12.org/legacycc/. Also, results will be uploaded to Milesplit.
Awards: Pride and Clout. No physical awards will be given.
Cost: We will all split any associated costs.
Spectators: Spectators must wear masks and social distance. Gathering will be discouraged and asked to disperse. Each athlete should only have one spectator or fewer. Spectators should watch the race their athlete is in, then leave immediately. Please communicate this with your athletes.
Track: The track is only for athletes and coaches. Spectators will not be allowed on the track.
More specifics:
Keep all athletes 6 feet apart. Everyone must wear a mask at all times except for athletes warming up, cooling down, or racing. All athletes warming up or cooling down must carry a mask and put it back on when encountering others. Please notify spectators of mask policy.
Finishing chute: In order to comply with the CHSAA guidelines your athletes will be asked to put a mask on and leave the finish area immediately. Volunteers may be helping to encourage athletes to leave the finish area also.
Parking: Any of the parking lots at Legacy High School.
