4A & 5A JEFFCO LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS
ENTRIES DUE:
No later than 9am on Tuesday, May 3rd
Each school is allowed up to 3 entries per event and 1 relay team
For 5A schools, please email your 8 girls and 8 boys wildcard entries to john.sears@jeffco.k12.co.us by 9am on Tuesday, May 3rd
NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED
RUNNING EVENTS:
To qualify for finals in the prelim events: Winner of each heat and the next overall fastest times
FIELD EVENTS:
Each athlete will have a total of 3 attempts and ten athletes to finals
Each school will be responsible to provide official and/or assistants to the assigned field event
SCORING:
10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1(Nine Places)
COACHES MEETING:
2:45pm at the finish line
STATE QUALIFYING MEET:
This meet is a qualifier for the state track meet and all rules and regulations pertaining to such a meet will be followed (uniforms, jewelry, etc.). The rules governing the meet are those of the National Federation of the State High School Association and CHSAA.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Meet Program will be emailed prior to the start of the meet on Wednesday
We will stick to the time schedule
No athletes or coaches will be allowed on the infield during the meet unless they are competing or warming up for the next event in the warm up area.
