Meet Information

Coaches,

Welcome to the 62nd Annual Pueblo Central "Pete Falleta" Cross Country Invitational!We are excited to host this long-standing tradition, and are happy you are choosing to participate.  The meet is set for August 24, 2024.  The entry fee is $150 high school/$50 middle school.

Coaches,

please enter your varsity and junior varsity athletes using the Milesplit platform.In addition, we are hosting

a middle school meet for any teams interested.Middle school coaches will also enter teams in Milesplit.Please also fill out the contract and send it back. IF WE DO NOT RECIEVE A CONTRACT BACK YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN!   

In your packets you will find a course map, a lane assignment and coaches' bracelets.Timing chips will either be in your packets, or you may pick them up at the finish line if they are not in your packets. For varsity races, teams can run up to seven runners - the top five will score, and the sixth and seventh runners will be used if a tie breaker is necessary.There are unlimited entries in the open events. All races will be timed by Runner's Roost.

Parking:Please park in the Pueblo Zoo, parking lot, not in the Elmwood Golf Course parking lot off of Thatcher Ave.Use the Pueblo Blvd entrance to the Pueblo City Park, and follow the road to the zoo parking lot.Please do

not park or go to the golf club house to use the restrooms - portable toilets will be available at the start/finish line area of the race course.

Teams and spectators will enter the race course through the gates by the tennis courts.  We ask athletes and spectators to stay out of the flagged-off areas. During races, only coaches with bracelets and athletes will be allowed to cross the bridge. PLEASE communicate this with parents.

Awards will be presented at the conclusion of the high school open races.Plaques will be awarded to first place boys and girls teams. Individual boys and girls champions will also receive a plaque - medals will be awarded to 2nd - 10th place finishers.

Approximate time schedule:

9:00 am - Varsity Girls

9:40 am - Varsity Boys

10:20 am - Open Girls

11:00 am - Open Boys

11:40 am - Middle School Race and High School Awards
