Course:
The Longs Peak course is located on the Lake Estes 9-Hole golf course within walking distance to downtown Estes. With an average elevation just above 7500 ft., the Longs Peak XC course offers a fair challenge to all runners with magnificent views of the Rocky Mountains in all directions. It's a mostly flat, soft (grass and dirt) surface. The 2-loop course gives coaches and spectators many opportunities to see their athletes. Afterward, your runners can dip their legs in the ice cold waters of the Big Thompson River (adjacent to the course), explore downtown Estes Park, or visit Rocky Mountain National Park.
