Warrior Cross Country Invitational
Saturday August 23rd
Dear Athletic Directors / Coaches:
We would like to invite you to the Warrior Cross Country Invitational at the Las Colonias Waterfront Park in Grand Junction on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025. We are excited to run at Las Colonias again and highlight the waterfront park area along with all of the activities available (Zip Line & Water Activities) after the race. Bring your team and stay afterwards to celebrate the start of the 2025 Cross Country season.
Course: The course will be run on the trails along the Las Colonias Waterfront Park which will consist of a mix of grass, dirt and paved trail surfaces. It will be a two loop course that will be very spectator friendly.
Schedule of Events:
7:00-8:00am - Packet Pick-up
8:30am - Boys Varsity 5K (10 Max Per Team)
8:35am - Girls Varsity 5K (10 Max Per Team)
9:00am - Boys JV/Open 2.5K (Unlimited Entries)
9:05am - Girls JV/Open 2.5K (Unlimited Entries)
9:30am - Middle School 2.5K (Unlimited Entries)
9:30am - Open/Community/Coaches Warrior Waterfront 5K

Additionally GJAdventures and Riverfront Zip Adventures are offering discounts for those interested in staying and having fun.
Fees: $250 per school (covers both Boys & Girls Varsity and JV Races with unlimited entries) / $15 per athlete for smaller schools. We do plan on limiting this to a maximum of 20 teams so please confirm your plans to attend ASAP. Please bring a check to meet payable to Central High School.
