Alamosa High School is hosting the High Altitude Challenge Track and Field Championship Meet. This is also the Intermountain League meet at Alamosa High School Stadium on Friday, April 24, 2026.Field and running events begin at 10:00am.

This will be a State Qualifying Meet. Each team will be allowed three entries per event and one relay team, except the 1600m and 3200m which will allow 4 entries and pole vault, which will allow 6 entries.  Entry fee is  $200.00 per team (girls and boys will be $350.00).  Teams of less than 10 will be charged $15 per athlete. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for coaches and workers. 

All unified athletes will be able to participate in the 100m. 200m, LJ and Shot Put. PLEASE EMAIL JEN MCQUITTY WITH ATHLETES NAMES,T-SHIRT SIZE AND EVENTS. All unified athletes will stand on the podium for photos and recognition. Sign up unified 100m runners up on Milesplit. All other events will be manually added.

Top three winners will be announced on the podium with 1st place receiving a t-shirt.

The top two teams, boys and girls, from the IML league will receive a plaque.

We will separate out the non league teams from the league teams for scoring purposes.
