What clinched the decision for the school you signed with: When I started my college search I knew that I wanted to go to a mid-sized school with a low student to faculty ratio. After I talked to Coach Dror (Tampa’s Head Coach) I could tell he would be a great person to run for. I knew he would be someone that would help me grow, not only as a runner but as a person. When I took my official visit to the school in December I fell in love with the campus.
Your favorite high school track event: 3200 M
Your favorite high school athletic memory: Toeing the line at 5A State Cross Country Championships with my team. The five seniors and two juniors (myself, Scotty Davids, Bridger Tomlin, Kyle Lund, Tim Brown, Zach Swenson & Rich Sanchez) had suffered through every workout together since my first cross country practice sophomore year. Throughout the years we had developed a close bond. Knowing that State would be our last big race together was a poignant moment.
