You're bound to learn something when you put this many teams on the track for a season-opening meet. What's never quite so clear is what, exactly, it all means. I'll try to decode some of that in the paragraphs that follow, but I'm as subject to misinterpretation as anyone.

To be honest, it didn't exactly seem like the Banana Belt on Saturday. The day had it's moments, but, let's be clear, nowhere in Colorado is guaranteed tropical kind of temperatures in the middle of March. Still, if you have to pick a place to be, Pueblo is rarely a bad choice in March.
