Track gremlins get bored over the winter. When the track and field timing equipment is supposedly safely stored away, they do their devious work. They were, apparently, working overtime this winter. Serious timing and equipment glitches brought meets in Rifle, Frederick, and Colorado Springs to their knees. If not for some spectacular performances turned in over the past week, the gremlins would have become the big news of the weekend.
