Can't get enough track and field? Then the CSU-Pueblo Thunderbowl is where you want to be this weekend!
The NCAA Division II National Track and Field Championships will be held in Pueblo, Colorado, on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of this week. This is the meet that will determine the NCAA Division II mens and womens national champions.
The Thursday schedule begins with decathlon and pentathlon events on Thursday morning followed by the hammer throw early in the afternoon. Additional field event finals will be contested throughout the afternoon.
Track prelims begin at 4:50 in the afternoon and continue through the rest of the evening. The evening session concludes with the 10,000 Meter finals starting at 8:10 PM.
The multis recommence on Friday morning and continue through the afternoon session. The regular slate of track and field events on Friday afternoon begins with the men's discus at 2 PM. The remaining track prelims will be contested throughout the afternoon and evening on Friday, with the evening session concluding with the steeplechase finals beginning at 7:15 PM, followed by the 4x400 prelims.
Saturday's session begins at 12:15 PM with the men's javelin and continues through the evening with the remaining field event finals and all track event finals except the 10,000 meters and the steeplechase.
An all-session pass for three full days of track and field is $25.
Directions to the CSU-Pueblo Thunderbowl:
Take I-25 to Exit 101 on the north side of Pueblo. Proceed east on Colorado Highway 47. Go past the main part of the CSU-Pueblo campus (it will be on the north) and exit Highway 47 at Troy Avenue. Turn north on Troy Avenue and approach the CSU-Pueblo Thunderbowl (about one-half mile).
