In its relatively short history, the Tri Valley League hasn't been a big player when the state meet rolls around. If you believe what your eyes saw this fall, that could all be about to change next fall. Erie fielded a young, and very good, team this fall. Several of the key guys on that team are back, including sub-17s Shane Mathis and Andrew Yurko, meaning that the Tigers may be done with being paper tigers. With two more sub-17:30s returning in Kyle Leahy and Matt Sease, Erie figures to be, by a large margin, the top team in the Tri-Valley next fall.

Skyline will lose something to graduation but still returns as the second-ranked team in the league. Sam Berg can likely chase Shane Mathis for the individual title, but the Falcons will need help from down the roster to become a team title contender.
