On Saturday, the Cadet Field House will be overflowing with high school competitors.
What figures to be the biggest and most competitive high school indoor meet of the season here in Colorado occupies a substantial chunk of Saturday's real estate on your calendar. Not only does it figure to be the top competition for Colorado athletes in the indoor season, but it's the only indoor meet in Colorado that regularly draws out-of-state competitors as well.
Online registration closes Wednesday at midnight. There will be day-of-meet registration, but the ante for that privilege is a little higher than it is for registering online.
The start of competition follows the national anthem at 10 AM with several field events getting underway. Track events start with the 60 meter hurdle prelims at 10:30. Action will run more or less continuously on a somewhat rolling schedule through about 4:30 PM.
All contestants receive a meet t-shirt, and event winners will be presented watches.
