Garry Berry Stadium doesn't take long to warm up to the task at hand. If Saturday's Palmer Terror Invitational was any indication, track and field fans have a lot to look forward to at this year's series of meets at the Colorado Springs School District 11 stadium.

Most of the Colorado Springs area teams had already seen at least a couple of meets worth of action already this season, but the venerable D11 stadium had not yet opened its gates to host a rankings meet until Saturday. And the act of opening those gates unleashed a torrent of big performances.
