At the Colorado United Invitational, the 60m and the 60m hurdles was the best events on the girls side, producing some impressive marks.
In the 60m dash, Evangeline Ansah won the event with a time of 7.59, earning her the new #1 spot for Colorado this outdoor season. Her time also placed her just outside of the Colorado all-time top 25 list! Ansah followed that victory with another win in the 200m not to much after the 60m finals, running 25.0.
In the hurdles, Zenobia Witt took the victory with a time of 8.56, after running 7.74 in the flat 60m to earn 3rd place in the event. Witt's hurdles time puts her on par with Olympian Anna Hall, tying her at #10 on the all-time list! She is also ranked #5 nationally in the event.
