If you're looking for the loaded region of 2A girls cross country for 2014, look no further. The teams you'll find here aren't necessarily deep (and you don't need to be in 2A), but they will have an impact on the state meet. Arguably, Resurrection Christian, Lyons, Heritage Christian Academy, and Shining Mountain are four of the best 2A girls teams in the state. It could easily become a major ordeal just to advance out of this region.
Resurrection's case is built on the balance of Hannah Hart, Kyra Hanson, and Rachel Meyers. It's not a list of high-profile distance names, but they all did run 20-something last fall--even after the Wiggins speedfest is factored out.
