It may be something of a down year for Fort Collins. The Lambkins only return six sub-20 runners to the fold. None of us need any introduction to Lauren Gregory (a sub-18), but the rest of the roll call of sub-20s reads: Devynn Miller, Heather Holt (both sub-19s), Samantha Muller, Kiri Michell, and Claire Hooker. One can only imagine what's coming up from 8th grade this year and how that might fit into the overall picture.
But, if it is a down year for Fort Collins, the rest of the region is still a fair piece from being able to capitalize on that. And with good reason--there really isn't a great deal of difference between competing against a team with six or eight or ten returning sub-20s if you have two or three.
