Disclaimer: Since I work with the athletes on a daily basis and aim to keep that ship on as straight of a course as possible, I will sidestep any discussion of TCA as a team or TCA athletes in this article. There are topics that reporters can safely explore and but which coaches are wise to avoid. In this case, my coach hat trumps my reporter/analyst hat.

You would think that bringing back your top four scoring runners off a state championship team would leave you feeling pretty comfortable about your chances for the upcoming fall. In none of my e-mail exchanges with Coach Matt Norton, however, has he exuded a lot of comfort about the challenges of the season ahead.
