Had the University of Florida been at TCA's Titan Thunder Invitational this morning, they would have gone home and told the University to give it up. "The Swamp" in Gainesville has nothing on this morning's conditions at the TCA Titan Thunder.
Rain had nothing to do with this morning's mess. When the setup crew arrived this morning, the start/finish field was covered in standing water, and low-lying areas typically had a couple inches of standing water.
It would seem that something broke with the sprinkling system overnight and a lot of extra water got dumped on the grassy fields of Fountain Creek Regional Park.
