* - To be fair, the Center Invitational dates back a good deal further than the Colorado Track XC records. In fact, I vividly recall running a rather mediocre 2:22 880 (yards) back on a cold day in Center early in the season of my junior year of high school. Back then, the Center track was more or less a surface of sand, rolled flat, with a concrete inside curb. But, the records shown below do cover the entire era since the synthetic track was installed in Center.
