Note: I ran this same article the last two weeks, but have updated it this week with a fifth column indicating where the #18 cutoff lies for 3A at the end of this past weekend's action (May 3). All the rest of the article, and how to properly read it, remains the same.
The idea of this article is simple: compare where we are now in 3A state qualifying to what it took to get to state in each of the last two years. For each event, the first number represents what it took to get to state in 2013, the second number what it took to get to state in 2014, and the third number (red means it's already tougher this year than last) what it currently takes to make the cutoff for 2015.
Key to numbers - first number after the event name is minimum qualifying mark for 2013, second number is minimum qualifying mark for 2014, third is minimum qualifying mark as of April 20, fourth is minimum qualifying mark as of April 27, and fifth is minimum qualifying mark as of May 3.
