Ho hum, another 2A Boys virtual meet shows Lyons at the top. And, since Lutheran moved up to 3A this year, Lyons was destined to fill the void, right? But maybe the margin right now isn't as comfortable of a margin as Mark Roberts' Lions are accustomed to holding. There's good reason for lingering interest in the 2A Boys title race.
By now, we're familiar with the strengths of the Lyons program--anything on the track or in the field. That would go a long way toward explaining why they've won so much lately. Paul Roberts, Joel Such, and Matt Dillon are doing destructive things in distance. Barring injury, these are points in the bank for Lyons.
