This is a long way from a done deal yet, but you might be surprised at the results of the current 4A Girls virtual meet. If you have Niwot pegged as a runaway favorite, that has changed.
Runaway favorite status now seems to reside in Loveland; we're just not sure which high school. And it probably isn't exactly "runaway," either.
Mountain View and Thompson Valley appear to be locked in an arm-wrestling match for supremacy, with Niwot joining folks like Valor and Green Mountain as second-tier hopefuls. And there's a bundle of schools right behind the second-tier folks, too.
What Mountain View and Thompson Valley have that the other schools seem to lack are numbers. Both the Mountain Lions and the Eagles have the capacity to score big points across a fairly broad spectrum of events.
