The first weekend in May held special significance. For the second time, the world would see the Avengers assemble on the big screen. For the track community on the Front Range a different kind of superhero team assembled, that is to say the Trojans of Fountain-Fort Carson.
Wearing the familiar vibrant red-and-blue, Fountain-Fort Carson swept every relay on the track at Garry Berry Stadium at Doherty High School's annual Spartan Invitational.
Individual Trojan victories were ubiquitous as Tevin Donnell won the 100m (10.86) and the 200m (21.33), Juan Sabino won the 400m (50.39), Benjamin Thomas won the 800m (1:55.61), Jequan Hogan won the high jump 6-3), and Jamarcus Mathis won the triple jump (42-09).
