The weather threatened mightily Friday late afternoon in an attempt to tame the Tiger Invite. After two thirty minute lightning delays, only the prelims of the short hurdles had taken place and the storm was threatening to cycle through again. The decision was made to go forward with the 4x800's and the fast heats of the 3200 and to drop the prelims yet to be competed. With the promise of better weather on Saturday, all remaining events were reseeded and run as finals on Saturday.
The last meet of the regular season means many things to many people. For most competitors it is the opportunity to have one more opportunity for a PR in an event. For some it's the close of a four-year dedication to be followed by graduation ceremonies and a new life chapter to begin.
