It wasn't the kind of week anyone would have chosen for the final week of state qualifying. Only a small handful of the meets got through all of their scheduled events. Several meets didn't even get through a majority of their scheduled events. Yet, through it all, some outstanding performances emerged. The human spirit doesn't necessaily go down quietly, even when all manner of circumstances are arrayed against it.
